I had no trouble at all following the pattern. Everywhere I go wearing my beanie, people ask me if I made it and beg me, offer to pay me to make one for them!! It's gorgeous!!
I have made a few of Luz Mendoza's hats and all of the patterns were well written. If this pattern is missing a row - you can ask Luz for clarification on her Facebook page. She is very quick to respond. I am sure the directions just got mixed up when the ebook kindle version was uploaded. I have used Luz's kindle patterns with no problem.
