In the midst of crisis true heroes are born. Steve Nole is a victim of heroism. In the midst of his country's rebellion he successfully works his way up from a battalion leader to Commander under insurmountable odds. Still, victories are never without hardships. Steve Nole's army encounters a belligerent dictator’s armies in fierce battle. They fight legendary creatures previously unknown to the modern world and protect others from their wake. Then when the war is over the fledgling nation has to fight a different battle. They have to reconstruct their society after being controlled by a Communist dictatorship, but not everyone in the government is on the right side. A massive riot breaks out in the capitol and 3 heroes Pascale, Scottie, and James have to get to the bottom of the rebellion in order to 'nip it in the bud'. If they succeed they save the entire nation. If they fail then the country they fought to build will be destroyed.

This novel is an action/adventure Science Fiction War Story, with the main ingredients leaning more towards War-Story and Action/Adventure Novel than Science Fiction Novel. Although there were some elements of this story that was infact Science Fiction(Lizard-like people, humanoids basically,) if a reader wanted to, they can easily get past all of that and it would feel like your basic fiction novel. Besides this, since I believe discovering the whole war, why it's happening, and just basic components of each character(yes, there was a hint of love-type stories in there, *Mind blown,*) I will skip from 'what's it about'(The Book Description, and even a written summary from me doesn't/won't give it justice) and state my likes, my dislikes, and my overall approval of this story.

I LOVED:
The action. This is a book full of action, so if you don't like action, leave. That's right. They're in a war for half the book, and the other half, there's more conflict. So, if you don't like action, I have no clue what to tell you, you probably SHOULDN'T have been directed to this page in the first place.

The characters, they're fun, entertaining, and they don't make me want to sleep every time one character is in the book for more than two pages on end. Although I didn't necessarily feel 'attached' to the characters, I didn't want to go onto the pages and strangle them each one by one until they'd just disappear from the paper. Which is fine that I didn't feel attached to them, since this is a plot-driven book, leading to my next point....

Plot-Driven book, I suppose this sort of falls into the category of 'The action' part, but, eh, I'm in the mood for raving more about the story line of this book. It was fast, I didn't have to 'delve deeper' into characters I didn't really care about, and yet there were still quite a few characters to get to know. It progressed quite nicely for my tastes when it comes to the larger scaled(haha, did I just make a pun?????) events, making me feel like I've actually read a story and not the diary of a fictional person.

And the list goes on, and on, and on....

Now, with every book, there comes some fault points, although I can keep on going with the things that I enjoyed about this book, I believe that I should notify the reader of a few things that MIGHT become a problem to them:

There was some 'telling' engraved into the very walls of this book. If you're just a basic reader who just enjoys reading, and you're thinking "what on Earth does she mean," she go on to the second one and completely disregard this point, it's writer-talk now. By all means, it didn't get annoying, but, I realize that there are some people that 'telling' just gets under their skin real bad. It wasn't overbearing, and, was separated by dialogue, and some showing, but it was definitely there. Just a warning.

There were about fifteen grammar/typo mistakes(give or take some) in the whole book that were easily overlookable, and, understandable even.

That's it, no more bad things coming out of this mouth(? Key board...) about this book.

My official statement is,
that yes, I will recommend this book.

Operation Hammer Animal Conflict Series Book 1 edition by Ezekiel Carsella Lindsay Pittman Ashley Clarke Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I really love the book! I personally know the author, and he writes really awesome books and stories! I can't wait for volume 2, a MUST BUY! It's crime not to read it!
With much more thorough editing this story could have been a knockout. As is, It reads more like a video game summary than a novel, but is somehow strangely engaging. The premise is ambitious and the (literally) non-stop action keeps your interest.

The animal conflict series has a lot of potential.
